As a young kid I used to record singles onto an old reel to reel tape recorder, and I carefully drew a picture of my ideal radio studio. Then, following one of my elder brothers, I got a Saturday job as a teenager at Radio Hallam in Sheffield as an assistant on the sports show. I kinda got the bug from that, but it was only some 25 years later that I took the plunge and decided to get involved in Hospital Radio, here in St Johns.
